The above position arose in a recent Merseyside game where the motif of Zwischenzug arose.  In the above position black thought that he could play Nxf1 this however loses to Bd7+ with the threat of Nxd7 Qxf7 mate, and so he had to settle for Nexg4 remaining a piece for a pawn down.

And while we are at it a case from Blackpool, of how not to do it.  Watching a game where an adult player was becoming increasingly frustrated at a junior who would not resign when clearly lost.  White had a bare king, black had one or two more pawns, but essentially this position was reached.  All of the rooks were from pawn promotions, and black ( to play) managed to find the only way not to win.  I hope that you can find it.   If this is your game I do apologise, I know that you were only venting your frustration at the junior for not resigning, but…
